CHERRIES and Nottingham Forest were both fined following an incident during their Championship clash at the City Ground in February.
Eric Lichaj’s late tackle on Cherries midfielder Adam Smith resulted in players from both camps surrounding referee Nigel Miller.
Lichaj received a yellow card for the foul, while referee Miller included details of the 32nd-minute incident in his match report.
As a result, both clubs were charged with a breach of FA rule E20 – a failure to ensure players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
Both Cherries and Forest admitted the charge and received the standard penalty for the offence, a fine of £5000.
