WOLVES winger Rajiv van La Parra has escaped a suspension after having his dismissal against Cherries overturned.
However, full-back Matt Doherty’s red card – also picked up in Saturday’s Championship clash at Molineux – will stand.
Wolves led 1-0 when van La Parra was sent off by referee Mike Jones following an aerial clash with Cherries centre-half Steve Cook just before the hour mark.
The dismissal triggered a major momentum shift and the visitors eventually triumphed courtesy of strikes from Harry Arter and Matt Ritchie.
Doherty saw red in the closing seconds for a lunge on striker Brett Pitman.
The Independent Regulatory Commission passed a verdict of wrongful dismissal on the van La Parra incident and the Dutchman is therefore available to feature against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
But Doherty will sit out the visit to Hillsborough and two subsequent clashes after the decision to show the defender a red card was upheld.
