STRIKER Mark Gamble was carried off with a knee injury during Bashley ’s 0-0 draw against Premier Division new boys Gosport Borough at Privett Park.
Gamble caught his studs in the turf on the stroke of half-time and could be facing a spell on the sidelines.
Bashley salvaged some pride following their 6-0 drubbing by Hemel Hempstead on Saturday and could have taken all three points but for an inspired display from Gosport goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore, who denied James Stokoe on three occasions.
