Cherries have reportedly rejected a bid from Rotherham United for record signing Matt Tubbs.
Tubbs, who only arrived at Seward Stadium in January, has been the subject of interest from his former Crawley Town boss Steve Evans, now manager at Rotherham.
The Millers are claiming their offer was a “significant six-figure bid” and have said it has been rejected by Cherries. The south Yorskhire outfit has also bid, unsuccessfully, for AFC Wimbledon’s Jack Midson.
Evans told the Rotherham club website: “At a meeting with the chairman on Monday, he sanctioned the offers for the pair.
“In turn, we have made two concrete offers but I can further confirm that both of them have been turned down.”
He added: ”Both were good offers, in fact, the Matt Tubbs offer was record-breaking by some distance for Rotherham United.”
