BOSS Lee Bradbury admits Cherries need to sort out their set-piece frailties – and fast.

Bradbury was speaking after his men had suffered a fifth consecutive League One defeat on Saturday.

Cherries conceded three times in the opening 10 minutes as promotion-chasing Sheffield Wednesday secured a 3-0 win at Hillsborough.

Bradbury had highlighted the Owls’ set-piece threat in the build-up to the clash, while coach Ryan Garry also said Cherries’ recent defending of corners and free-kicks had not been good enough.

But the sequence continued in Sheffield and Bradbury said: “We are going to look back over all the goals we have conceded in the past three weeks.

“Four were from set-plays and we need to address that and change it as soon as possible.”

Bradbury also revealed Cherries would be aiming to boost the confidence of Wes Thomas.

The striker netted an impressive 10 goals in 20 appearances |following his move from Crawley Town.

But Thomas has since gone eight games without finding the net – with Cherries managing a total of just one goal in their past six matches.

Thomas was denied by Owls keeper Stephen Bywater in a one-on-one on Saturday, before also hitting the post.

Manager Bradbury said: “He will be low on confidence at the moment because he has missed a few chances of late. But he scored 10 goals this season from chances that were not as good.

“He needs to believe that. We probably need to put something together for him to look at to get his confidence back where it was before.”
