GRAHAM Kemp believes Tom Jeffes’s brief spell at Hurn Bridge can prove to be a winning scenario for both Christchurch and Wimborne Town.
The former Priory striker has joined his old club, on dual registration, in a bid to enhance his match fitness.
With Wimborne out of action tomorrow and Tuesday, Kemp has agreed to bring in Jeffes on a temporary basis.
The ex-Poole Town man is set to start when Christchurch visit Romsey Town in the Wessex Premier tomorrow (3pm).
Kemp explained: “Steve Cuss (Wimborne manager) rates Tom quite highly and he needs a bit of match practice, and Ben Osborne is carrying a knock, so it suits both parties.
“I get to rest Ben and Tom gets a game or two to keep up his sharpness.”
Leading goalscorer Osborne is included in the Christchurch squad but is rated doubtful.
Priory: (from) Loader, Costello, Taylor, Dand, Crutchley, Burt, M Smith, Fairbrother, Cooper, Osborne, Reed, Burden, Griffin, Cornick, Jeffes.
