CHERRIES have agreed a fee with Brighton for striker Will Hoskins, the Echo understands.
Sources close to the Echo claim the 25-year-old could now talk personal terms with the Dorset club.
The Hoskins link comes hot on the heels of Cherries seeing a fresh offer for Crawley Town's Matt Tubbs rejected this week.
Cherries were understood to have submitted a bid in the region of £500,000 for Tubbs, but their latest attempt to sign the Verwood-raised frontman was rebuffed by the Red Devils.
When contacted by the Echo this afternoon, chairman Eddie Mitchell said he knew nothing about bids for either Hoskins or Wycombe's Stuart Beavon.
Sky Sports had reported an offer for Beavon from Cherries was rejected by the Chairboys.
Meanwhile, boss Lee Bradbury looks to have cooled his interest in Coventry striker Cody McDonald.
Cherries were understood to have reached an agreement with the Championship side over a fee for McDonald, but the 25-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee injury and is unlikely to return to fitness in the near future.
