LEE Bradbury is confident his squad players can step up to the plate at Priestfield tonight.

Bradbury is likely to call upon defender Stephane Zubar and striker Michael Symes in Kent, with Wes Fogden, Steve Cook, Charlie Sheringham and Jaime Peters all either cup-tied or not permitted to play in the FA Cup by their parent clubs.

Bradbury said: “We have four lads unavailable so it’s a bit frustrating, but Gillingham can’t use Jo Kuffour or Frank Nouble either so it’s the same for them. It’s part and parcel of the FA Cup.

“But we have players who can come in and do a good job. That is the beauty of it at the moment – we have a good squad who are all capable of playing.”

Cherries let slip a 3-1 lead at Seward Stadium on November 12, with Bradbury insisting his men have something to prove in tonight’s replay.

He added: “I want to go and win the game and I feel we owe Gillingham.

“We played well for 70 minutes and switched off for the last goal at our place so I want to go there and show them the real us.

“I am sure Andy Hessenthaler will have them fired up and I will as well.

“It should be a good game and an entertaining game.

“They like to get forward in numbers and so do we, but, hopefully, we can come out on top this time.”
