ROBBIE Woolner was the four-goal star when M A Hart Pickford Cup holders Portcastrian swept New Milton Eagles aside 8-1 in their third round tie.

Sam Smith (2), Rhys Dear and Jon Winn were the other Portcastrian scorers with Shahed Miah getting the consolation goal for their Division Four opponents.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom for Division Four sides though with Bisterne Rangers rising to the occasion to pull off an excellent 2-1 success against Division One’s Harrington United thanks to Sam Hills and Luke Walker, while AFC Pennington followed suit to surprise Allendale 2-0 with goals from Andy Chilcott and Jeremy Barrett.

Ferndown Town Greenfields were the third Division One side to fall by the wayside when Division Three outfit Richmond Park Con upended them 2-0 with goals from Mark Pudney and Sam Cummings.

Parkside Wanderers’ hopes of causing an upset were dashed though when goals from Sam Kennedy and Craig Armstrong gave Premier Division Mudeford Mens Club the upper hand 2-0.

• Darren Britton and Barry Hinz were the AFC Highcliffe marksmen when they shaded it 2-1 against Mudeford Mens Club reserves in the third round of the M A Hart Hayward Cup.

Walker Scott are also through to the last eight after Christopher Ramsier scored the vital goal to subdue Ferndown Town Greenfields reserves 1-0.

Chris Hardy struck twice in FC Athletico’s 4-1 victory over Magpies with Alex Davies and Chris Biddle adding one each, while Robert Cole (2), Steve Thornton and Tim Somerfield gave Screw-It Carpentry a 4-2 win over Burley.
