CHRIS Ferrett described Dave Allen as a “big player” – with the influential forward set to return from suspension to boost Bashley’s play-off prospects.

Versatile Allen, who has scored 19 goals this season from midfield and attack, is likely to go straight into the Bash line-up for tomorrow’s home Southern Premier clash against Tiverton (3pm).

Player-coach Ferrett said: “Whether he is playing in midfield or up front, Dave always seems to perform.”

Bash also expect forwards Max Cream and Joe Maxwell to be available after the pair missed Tuesday’s draw at Evesham. Goalkeeper David Elm (dislocated finger) is doubtful, so Joe Prodomo is poised to deputise.
