KELLY Barth’s hat-trick proved decisive when unbeaten Division Four leaders Cherry Bees got the better of Wallisdown Conservative 4-2 in the second round of the MA Hart Page Croft Cup. Jack Foster scored the other goal for the Cherries with Sacha Navarro and Mick Ward replying for Wallisdown.

Cup holders Twynham Rangers are also through to the third round after Chris Forbes, Mitchel Keet and Dan Seymour ensured a 3-1 success against AFC Burton, while Fencing Centre ousted Mploy 4-0 with goals from Jason Cliffe (2), James Ballard and Jamie Sheppard.

Gary Earl and Lloyd Pearce netted for Queens Park Athletic in their first-round tie, but Stourvale bundled them out 4-2 after extra-time thanks to Stuart Armstrong (2), Chris Booth and Alex Rossi.

Dominic Taylor (2), Trevor Fisher, Keith Williams and Lee Rimmer, meanwhile, were the Tuakana marksmen when the Division Two high-fliers polished off Seabournes 5-2.

Steve Collins struck for New Milton Eagles in the second round of the MA Hart Pickford Cup, but the Division Four side eventually had to give way when Bisterne United of Division Two bagged two late goals to emerge 3-1 winners. Bisterne’s heroes were Ashley Gritt, Marc Jennings and Benn Kitchiner.

Elsewhere, Julian Belton and Paul Blenman netted for Parkside Wanderers, but Burley edged them out 3-2 thanks to Sam Smith, Phil Matthews and Alec Moorman.

n Only one Sunday cup game went ahead in the very wet conditions, with Channel Seaways from Division Five going down 3-0 to Division Six side New Inn in the second round of the M A Hart Lawrence A Brivati Cup. Gary Shears (2) and Paul Foley found the net for New Inn.
