FA Cup talisman Matt Kemble and substitute Jayden Stockley both netted twice to help Cherries book a dream date with Premier Academy League Bolton Wanderers next month.

Kemble scored either side of half-time and Stockley twice in the second half as Cherries set up a trip to the Reebok Stadium after finally ending their eight-year wait for a place in the third round.

Striker Kemble, who also bagged a double in Cherries’ first round win at Bristol Rovers, paved the way for a convincing victory with finely-taken goals after 12 and 52 minutes.

And after the Dons had been reduced to 10 men, Stockley’s brace and a stunning strike from the impressive Ings earned Cherries a deserved victory.

Kemble gave Cherries the ideal start when he opened the scoring in the 12th minute, his unhurried finish giving Dons goalkeeper Jack Turner no chance.

The striker pounced from close range after Ings’s majestic effort from 30 yards had also beaten Turner before coming back off the crossbar.

Tom Green and Kemble both received bookings in the early stages, while Dons pair Jordan Hutchinson and Joe Jackson were also yellow carded as indiscipline got the better of some players.

At the start of a much-improved second half, Kemble blazed a good chance high over the crossbar before the striker doubled Cherries’ lead seven minutes after the break.

The 18-year-old latched on to a long clearance from deep before outstripping the Dons defence and coolly clipping the ball past the advancing Turner.

Wimbledon’s plight worsened when defender Callum Wellburn received a straight red card following a disgraceful lunge on Matt Vokes midway through the second half.

Substitute Stockley took just 11 minutes to find the target, the 16-year-old making space inside the 18-yard box before slotting the ball home from 10 yards.

Ings, however, laid claim to the goal-of-the-game plaudits when his deft flick made it 4-0 with 13 minutes remaining before Stockley completed the scoring with a header in the closing stages.
