SCRUM-HALF Harvey Bell gained the plaudits of Oakmeadians coach James Croker after bagging two tries and turning in a star performance in a 44-8 away romp at Trowbridge.

Will Samuels, Mike Richards, Adam Hudson and Brendon Daniel also touched down.

And Jamie Tryska slotted over four conversions and two penalties as the Meyrick Parkers remained among the South West One East frontrunners following four victories in a row.

Croker said: “Harvey has been pretty outstanding this season along with Will and Shane Coughlan.

“They have been our most consistent performers, but Harvey was very, very good at Trowbridge where he led us brilliantly.”

“Our performance was good in bits. The lads showed a lot of fight and determination but we didn’t play to our best.”
