CHAMPIONS Berrans Park Avenue Reserves finished with a 1-0 win over Lovett thanks to a Dan Whittington strike midway through the first half.

Runners up Queens Park Rovers Reserves shaded it 4-3 in their final game of the season against AFC Face with goals from Jon Beck, Andy Lambert, Sam Mole and Tom Doughty, while Asher Virabi, Tom Shevill and Alex Praoline gave Falcons a 3-1 success against AFC Ringwood.

DIVISION SEVEN

MARC Vincent (2) and Mark King netted for champions Oakdale but their unbeaten record was ruined when Poole Bay Estates toppled them 5-3 with goals from Steve Gilbert (2), Darren Higton, Richard Moran and Matt Ireland.

Runners-up AC FC went down 3-0 to third-placed Rounders whose marksmen were Richard Hearn, Tom Hill and Brett Walker against .

Meanwhile, Chaseside Wanderers gave AFC Hewitt Green a 9-2 drubbing thanks to a Dean Iles hat-trick and further goals from Steve Dunford (2), David Roger, Tyrone Wilson, Adam Guildford and Andy Maddison.

DIVISION EIGHT

VERWOOD SSC became champions when they just got the better of Shamrock 2-1 on Thursday night and they were 2-1 winners again when Chris Wright and Rob Smith put paid to Ferndown Forest.

Shamrock bounced back to wallop James and James 4-1 through Nick Hamilton, Mark Hemington, Sean Rowson and an own goal.

Neil Smith scored the consolation goal for James and James.

DIVISION NINE

LV FC lead the division after edging out promotion rivals Sunseekers 4-3 during the week and then drubbing Newtown Rovers 5-0 in their final game of the season with goals from Tom Williams (2), James Bartholomew and David Sones.

Despite LV’s victories, Bluewood Athletic have three games left to get the two points they need to take the title after their 7-3 triumph over AS Muscliff thanks to Jack Foster’s hat-trick and further goals from Shivan Roushbaiani, Mark Wheeler, Gary Claire and Liam Claire.

Sunseekers’ title hopes evaporated when they were beaten 4-2 by Horse and Jockey whose goals came from Dean Garnham, Martin Forward, Ross Singleton and Ricky Comaskey.

Fiveways United hauled themselves off the bottom of the table when they surprised JP Morgan 6-1.
