CHERRIES' match against Rochdale on Saturday could stand or fall on the Lancashire club’s burning bins.
A number of bins have been strategically positioned to help thaw the frozen pitch.
Premier League referee Lee Mason has carried out a precautionary inspection of the Spotland playing surface ahead of the scheduled Coca Cola League Two game.
Mason was encouraged by the condition of most of the pitch and could see the improvements brought about by the burning bins. The temperatures are set to rise over night.
