I AM not surprised that Matt Tubbs has resigned his position at Poole Town FC (Echo March 6) following a disappointing run of results.
Football management has much in common with marriage, a delicate and difficult arrangement that usually starts out well but invariably ends in failure and humiliation.
As a dyed in the wool supporter, I wish the new management team well.
Life is all about peaks and troughs. It is certain that good times will return.
Up the Dolphins!
