CHERRIES have been drawn to face Norwich City for the second consecutive season in the EFL Cup second round.
Scott Parker’s charges will visit Carrow Road week commencing August 22, having been defeated 6-0 there at this stage of the cup last campaign.
Despite taking a two-goal lead, recently relegated Norwich needed penalties to overcome Birmingham City in their first round match – following a 2-2 draw in normal time.
The trip to East Anglia for the first cup match of the season follows Cherries hosting Arsenal at Vitality Stadium on August 20, in the Premier League.
Cherries defeated Norwich home and away during the 2020-21 season, despite their opposition going on to secure Championship promotion.
