CHERRIES defender James Hill completed 90 minutes on his England under-21 debut, as the Young Lions defeated Kosovo 5-0.
The 20-year-old centre-back only played one minute for Scott Parker in the Championship following his January move from Fleetwood.
That has not stopped Hill earning a call-up to Lee Carsley’s under-21s – the most senior England side in the youth setup.
Aston Villa forward Cameron Archer scored twice to add to notches from Keane Lewis-Potter and Anthony Gordon, as well as an own goal Ilir Krasniqi.
Hill was a regular for England at under-20 level, but played alongside Manchester City’s Taylor Harwood-Bellis in defence last night.
The team also included the likes of Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, Aston Villa ace Jacob Ramsey and experienced defender Max Aarons.
