DORSET star Georgia Hall fired a level par 71 at the Kingsmill Championship in Williamsburg.
The Wimborne-based professional picked up a birdie at the par three fifth hole to reach the turn one under on the River Course in Virginia.
But dropped shots at the 10th and 16th either side of a birdie on the 12th meant the world number 36 was left in a tie for 71st after the opening round – six shots off the lead.
Hall is today set to begin her second round at 6.38pm UK time.
