EDDIE Howe admits the clash with Southampton will be the biggest game of his players' careers – but only because it is the next one.

Cherries could seal their own survival and also deliver a hammer blow to Saints' hopes of achieving Premier League safety at St Mary's tomorrow.

Mark Hughes's side are four points from safety and after facing Cherries, still have to travel to Everton and Swansea City before taking on champions Manchester City on the final day.

Asked by the Daily Echo if Saints' lowly position made it a more dangerous fixture, Howe said: “I don’t think so. Every game in the Premier League is dangerous if you are not good mentally, physically and tactically.

“The onus is on us to make sure we are in a very good place and to deliver our best performance.

“We try to prepare for every game like it is the biggest game of our careers, which it is, because it’s the next one.

“You can use a lot of fancy words to describe it but we know how big this game is for us."
