BOSS Matty Holmes believes Wimborne Town will face a “dangerous” side when they make the trip to Shortwood United tomorrow (7.45pm).
Promotion-chasing Magpies face a Woods outfit which last month announced their decision to resign from Southern League West at the end of the season.
Holmes told the Daily Echo: “They will play with freedom and there are no expectations on them now. They are going to rebuild and, hopefully, they will come back stronger.
“It’s a lovely club and a good set-up. We wish them all the best and hope they do get back into the Southern League.
“I have seen some clips of them and they are a dangerous side. They can move the ball around really well and we have to be on our game.”
Wimborne’s Ben Walker is set to be assessed after he suffered a hamstring injury late on during the 1-1 draw with Taunton on Saturday.
Fourth in the league with four fixtures remaining, victory for Magpies could move them within four points of second-placed Salisbury.
“We have to try to finish these games strongly and it’s in the lap of the gods where people will finish,” added the Cuthbury boss.
