CHERRIES striker Benik Afobe has again been linked with a move away from Vitality Stadium.

Sky Sports today reported West Brom were interested in the frontman, who has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season.

Afobe is also reportedly a target for former club Wolves, where he scored 23 goals before sealing a big-money move to the Dorset club two years ago.

The 24-year-old has netted once for Cherries this campaign – in the 3-1 Carabao Cup fourth-round win over Middlesbrough in October.

Speaking last week, boss Eddie Howe said: “Benik has scored some crucial goals for us. In the first season we signed him, he made some valuable contributions which should never be forgotten.

"Last season, it was the same. He was in good form at the end of the season and formed a really good partnership with Joshua King, and was one of the reasons why we picked up the points to retain our Premier League status.

"This season has been a bit more difficult for him but that's football. Your career is always highs and lows.

"I back Benik, he has a valuable part to play.”
