TALENTED teenager Luke Anderson will tomorrow hope to secure national glory in the boxing ring.
The Arena Boxing Club ace is set to take on Alex Pattison in the final of the National Association of Boys' and Girls' Clubs Boxing Championship at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
Anderson faces a tough task in the class C showdown against Pattison, who fights out of Gemini Boxing Club in Liverpool.
Pattison is a two-time winner of the Monkstown International Box Cup and also won gold for England at the GB Junior Three Nations two years ago.
Anderson sealed his place in the NABGC final courtesy of victory in his semi against Regan Lazenby.
The 18-year-old put in a strong display at Hengrove Leisure Centre in Bristol to get the better of his opponent from March Boxing Club in Cambridgeshire.
Western Counties glory had last month been sealed by Anderson, who defeated Owen Penny at Devizes Town FC for the honour.
The youngster's triumph came 24 hours after he had seen off Niall Woodland at Arena's home show in Southbourne.
