PIRATES have cut entry prices for tonight's mouthwatering clash with Belle Vue in a bid to attract new supporters to the shale sport.
Adults and OAPs will pay just £9.99 to watch the SGB Premiership clash at Wimborne Road, the same price as when owner Matt Ford took the helm nearly two decades ago.
In addition, youngsters aged between 11 and 15 years old can experience the action for just £5 while those aged 10 and under get in free.
Ford is hoping the enticing pricing structure will encourage those unfamiliar with speedway to take the plunge.
He told the Daily Echo: "We want people to come along, try the sport and see what they think of it.
"This meeting will see two fantastic teams going all out for victory and I'd love the stadium to be packed to the rafters.
"Everyone will get the chance to see the newly-crowned British champion, Craig Cook, who was in a class of his own in the British final.
"This is a great time for people to come out and watch a professional sporting event with some very good riders.
"Wimborne Road is the place to be and it's going to be a great meeting."
Gates are due to open early at 6pm.
