STRIKER Callum Wilson is expected to be named in Cherries’ 25-man squad for the Premier League when it is re-declared tomorrow.
Wilson had been facing an anxious wait to discover whether his top-flight campaign had come to a premature end due to injury.
The 23-year-old netted five goals in Cherries’ first six games of the season before being struck down by a serious knee injury at Stoke in September.
He went under the knife to have his right knee reconstructed after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament.
To stand a chance of featuring again in the Premier League this season, Wilson needs to be named in Cherries’ 25-man squad, details of which must be lodged by 5pm.
And the Daily Echo understands that although Wilson is still some way off a playing return, he will keep his place.
