CRANBORNE surrendered an early lead as they were sunk 3-2 by battling Holt United in the Dorset Premier League.
Tom Davies opened the scoring after seven minutes with a swerving drive, only for Sam Lockyer’s deflected free-kick to level matters.
Late on, home keeper Dan Loader failed to grasp the ball and Nathan Saxby ensured it crossed the line.
Saxby made it 3-1 soon after with Mike Haskell providing the assist, before Adam Beattie’s superb volley at the other end reduced the advantage.
Blandford United shared a 3-3 draw with high-fliers Balti Sports. Aaron Laws put hosts Blandford two goals up but Charlie Kenderdine pulled one back from the spot.

In the Dorset Senior Trophy second round, Parley Sports thumped Dorset Senior League outfit Chickerell United 6-0.
Matt Newberry got the ball rolling with a penalty and two free-kicks from Loyd Cole made it 3-0 before Newberry grabbed his second. Newberry completed his hat-trick after the restart and Dan Hiscock also netted.
