PROGRESS: Carole Kerley
TWO local golfers have advanced to England Golf’s Grand Medal Final.
Ferndown's Carole Kerley finished runner-up at a regional qualifier at Weston-super-Mare Golf Club in Somerset.
She was beaten on countback by Isle of Wight player Rose Green.
Kerley is set to join Canford Magna's Lisa Greenwood in the Grand Medal Final at Frilford Heath in August.
Ten golfers have so far earned their places at the Oxfordshire event and will clash with players from five other regional qualifiers.
