CHERRIES star Dan Gosling will tomorrow undergo a scan to determine the extent of an ankle problem he sustained in training.
The former Everton and Newcastle man turned his ankle on Thursday and did not feature in the squad for this afternoon’s FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa.
Marc Pugh was not involved due to a foot injury while Andrew Surman had a dead leg – but was still fit enough to be named on the bench.
Quizzed on the injuries, Howe told the Daily Echo: “Andrew Surman’s is definitely no problem but Dan Gosling’s is slightly more serious. He’s having a scan on Monday.
“Marc Pugh took a nasty bang on his foot but we hope it’s just a bruise at this stage.”
