NEW BDO world champion and Dorset's own Scott Mitchell gives an emotional address at last night’s post-tournament dinner.
The Bransgore-based ace emerged victorious from a long-distance slog with renowned three-time title winner Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams to lift the Lakeside crown 7-6.
‘Scotty Dog’ spoke of his pride in taking the accolade friend and mentor Bobby George missed out on, thanked opponent and “legend” Adams for his guidance and dedicated the success to the unflinching support of his family.
