A TRIO of Lukes were on the scoresheet as Blandford United maintained their impressive form with a 4-0 win over Cranborne at Park Road.
Luke Pidgley opened the scoring in the second minute – his first for the club – before Luke Crane bagged a first-half double and Luke Phillips completed the scoring early in the second half.
Blandford boss Brad Asagba said: “Given our position, points are more important than performances and the group delivered on that front.
“Although certain elements of our play individually were quite disappointing, as a collective there were certainly some positives to be taken.”
Sam Carr plundered a hat-trick as Hamworthy United reserves moved off the foot of the table following a 5-0 thumping of Tintinhull.
Carr’s treble, coupled with a double from Oliver Clayton, gave Hammers a five-goal cushion before Joe Smith grabbed a late consolation for the Tinmen.
Conor Jevon returned to haunt his former club, his eighth-minute winner proving the only goal of the game as Weymouth reserves edged past Poole Borough at Turlin Moor.
Goals from Alex Halloran, Ashley Clarke, Lewis Whytton, Jake Price and Charlie May earned Portland United a 5-0 home win over Sturminster Marshall, while Charles Parry’s opener for Mere Town was cancelled out by Richard Bryant as Shaftesbury Town claimed a share of the spoils.
