REMEDY Oak’s Gary Emerson is the overnight leader in the WINSTONgolf Senior Open in Germany.
Emerson, who leads home favourite Bernhard Langer by one shot, today carded eight birdies and one bogey to finish his first round with a seven-under 65, his best return since he joined the tour this year.
Dorset’s Georgia Hall, meanwhile, fought back following a disappointing opening round to make the halfway cut at the Tenerife Open.
The 18-year-old overcame breezy morning conditions to add an impressive one-under 71 to her first round 76 at Golf Costa Adeje.
