SOUGHT-AFTER Scott Costello could miss Bournemouth Poppies’ trip to Fareham Town tonight (7.45) but boss Ken Vaughan insists the midfielder has yet to leave Victoria Park.
Bournemouth University student Costello, subject of a seven-day approach from Wimborne Town, was described as “doubtful” for the clash at Cams Alders by his manager.
He told the Daily Echo: “Scott is back home so probably won’t feature in the game.
"We’re aware of Wimborne’s interest but he said he would tell me if anything changed and he hasn’t as yet, he just gave me a heads up that he wasn’t around for this one.”
Top scorer Martin Warren (groin) remains sidelined but Sam Pekun and Diane Bassirki could make their long-awaited debuts after signing from Wessex rivals Hamworthy United.
