WIMBORNE AC duo Grace Copeland and Thomas Bourne each scored second places in the Hampshire Cross-Country League at Popham Aerodrome.
Copeland finished the under-13 girls’ event five seconds down as Josie Czura (City of Portsmouth) reversed their previous league form. Bourne was only beaten by Aldershot’s Jack Boswell, who has won his last four league outings. Liam Murphy Parry finished sixth in the under-13 boys.
Poole AC’s Aiste Razmaite was fourth under-15 girl, with club-mate Emma Butterworth seventh in the under-17 women’s match.
