Pitman: Fatherhood has made me grow up (From Bournemouth Echo)

We all know that the entire squad has improved since the return of EH, for me the one player that has improved the most is O Kane, constant quality week in week out.

I too was very impressed with Euan O'Kane. His work rate was phenominal and would have been man of the match had it not been for Pitmans hatrick.

Comment overheard from Crewe supporter to their winger - "Run with it lad, I'll look after your wheelchair!"

Top scorers in league one now !!

Not sure I'd seen confirmation of the £60,000 fee before. Is this official? Although 60K or 100K is probably insignificant in comparison to the wages we have these lads on.

Unfortunately you seem to be the brain dead one! unless you are about 10 years old, surely you would know that the echo is not privvy to injury concerns about the squad, and as always you looked on the worse case scenario. Calling him a "fan" Tricky is stretching it more than a bit, does he ever say anything positive. I wouldn't really know as I gave up reading much of his posts ages ago. Our comments may not to be his liking, but as they say, the truth hurts, so he must be in a great deal of pain.

Apart from one or two posts on here what is written has nothing to do with Brett Pitman becoming a father and the influence that has had on his life.

I confess that I too sometimes make comments which are unrelated to the article so I do not take the high moral high ground but can we all step back from this name calling pause for a while take a deep breath.

Perhaps whilst we are at it we may want to examine our motives for commenting and if we find it too negative we might consider not writing at all.

I see that Shminto has not changed. Life must be so depressing when you are always so negative about everything!!

May sound harsh after a hat-trick, but Pitman is not making the most of his chances, his work rate seems ok but and his link up play is average. Hoping for more from a useful player and would like to see Tubbs given more game time. Solid professional performance on Saturday with well deserved 3 points. Up the cherries!

Firstly I don't want sympathy thanks all the same, I have been to a couple of games recently and will see Pompey, I'll try and clear my credit card through the summer months selling ??? (not here to advertise LOL)... I does mean for much of the year yes I'm strapped, but so are many others, the £10 the other day and Wigan was a bit easier have to say and I'll probably throw caution to the wind and see Sheff Utd (apologies for not spelling it completely) and Coventry. The person from Lincs doesn't see us play either and that's the whole point, he comes out with ridiculous posts which bores the hell out of all of us!!! Sorry, most of us. If being present at a football match is the only criterion which gives credence to what people say than I am afraid what has been said above (some) is null and void. When we read what supporters (and questionable ones!!) have to say we do have three choices a) we agree and say so; b) we disagree and say so and clarify why we disagree; c) we read it and pass by leaving well alone. What is (in my view anyway) not pleasing to read is when people result to insults like calling someone an Idiot, Fool, Moron, Empty head and so on.

From the little that I know about fellow posters is that the majority on here have some years of experience (OK Old if I have to use the word) so we should be more mature and more accommodating.

Thanks for that, and I too can see I was in the wrong, so apologies also. Regarding Hinto's posts however, I've given up reading them to be honest. I have said recently that some of what he says is a fair point, but in the main for someone to come out with all he does when he hasn't seen them play and quite possibly never listens to a commentary either, it defies belief that he can make the statements he does. So for my part, I can't be bothered replying any more, and the inference that I as a "Troll" along with everyone else who is getting fed up with him annoyed me also LOL... I'll leave Nonno and Steady Eddie to deal with him, they seem to have the bit between their teeth, and besides, there are many others who are worth replying too or at least reading.

Got to agree there, been saying it on the other posts, it really gets frustrating with these 25000 fans that went to Cardiff that havnt missed a game in twenty years, Wigan was a great day out but only the cup, We got tickets for the game at MK, have heard we have 3000 seats but can have up to 6000 if required, hope most fans will pay on the day ???
