TWO people had to be cut free from their cars following a crash in Purbeck.
Emergency services were called to the A352 Wareham Road in East Stoke shortly after 7.41am today.
Two vehicles were involved in a crash between a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a blue BMW.
Fire crews from Wareham and Poole were called to the scene and found a casualty trapped in each vehicle.
A spokesperson from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they removed both casualties using hydraulic cutting gear and spinal boards.
One woman in her 40s was taken to Dorset County Hospital with neck pain.
A teenage boy was taken to Poole Hospital with abdominal injuries.
Neither of them are thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
The road remained closed for several hours so the vehicles could be recovered and a spillage on the road cleared up by the local authority.
