THERE are delays on a major North Dorset route this afternoon after a crash involving four cars.
The A30 Babylon Hill is partially blocked as a result of the collision, reported to police just after 12.50pm.
A blue Citroen Picasso, a white Ford Fiesta, a blue Renault Megane and a blue Toyota Aygo were involved.
There are a number of casualties who are “walking wounded”, police say.
Paramedics were called to the scene.
The carriageway was closed between the Compton Road junction in Yeovil and the A352 Horsecastles Lane in Sherborne earlier this afternoon.
However, the road is now open, although queues remain in the area.
