Idea could be a good call

Idea could be a good call

LIFE in Dorset and the New Forest offers some experiences so beautiful that you wouldn’t want to be distracted by the ringing of a phone.

So the New Forest National Park Authority’s ‘tech creche’, which offers the chance to put your gadgets in a safe, has a lot going for it.

Bournemouth East MP Tobias Ellwood wants the idea tried on a stretch of beach, and there’s something to be said for that too.

But it might be best to pilot it at a quieter spot – because the main beaches can be so busy that you’d struggle to hear a ringing phone.

Personally, I'd prefer an Ellwood free zone.

He's only done this as the local election is on us in 2015.If he gets elected and I think he will and he's keeps his junior ministers role then you won't see him.His constituents will be in the Middle East and north America.

I'm a reasonably grumpy middle-aged man and I use the beach a fair bit. I don't recall ever being bothered by a mobile phone there.

actually let me qualify that - i have been bothered by people shouting on their cells, as people seem to feel the need to shout when using them, despite the fact there's really no need to.
