PLANS to redevelop the former bus station site in Bournemouth into a £50m leisure complex look close to becoming a reality.
Moves by the council to compulsorily purchase the NCP site and put a new bus station there always looked like an odd call, not least because Licet already had consent for their scheme and officers warned about the risky nature of the bus proposal.
Nevertheless everyone seems to have kissed and made up and in the best tradition of EU summits, they all come away with something. In the end, it looks like a great bit of business for the town.
