YET again it’s the residents who have to pay the price – in more ways than one – as travellers move on to public open spaces in Poole.

Travellers have now set up camp at Hamworthy Park and Turlin Moor Rec after previous groups were sited at Hatchard’s Field and Baiter Park.

In the first instance, residents may be put off visiting the areas and using the facilities they paid for.

And secondly, they will have to foot the bill as Poole council once again moves to evict travellers.
