Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an obsession with fashion, whether it’s been constantly looking on the ‘newly in’ pages on various websites or checking out the ‘most wanted’ items in fashion magazines.

I would describe my sense of style as fairly mainstream. I’m a fan of mixing high street and designer labels to keep the budget down, especially since I’m a student, while still feeling like I have made an effort with my appearance.

Today I am wearing black leggings from H&M, stonewash ankle boots from Peacocks and a pastel pink blouse with silver studs, from Forever 21.

I practically live in leggings as they’re so comfortable and can be worn for any occasion. I recently bought this blouse due to its versatility as the studs make the blouse dressier so that it could be warn for a few drinks, teamed with a pair of wedges. Also the blouse can be put with a pair of jeans and some pumps for a more casual daytime look.

My wardrobe has a mixture of clothes like vintage sweatshirts from shops such as Urban Outfitters or various vintage fairs.

Not to mention oversized printed t-shirts that I often wear with a pair of leggings and Nike Blazers for a more comfy, urban look.

I also have a number of chunky knit jumpers, varying from Christmas prints of snowflakes to plain nude colours, which I often dress with a vest top underneath, creating a layered look.

When it comes to a night out I adore dresses that are teamed up with a pair of heels and a few accessories, in opposed to trying to get a top and skirt to match.

I tend to wear either a figure hugging body-con dress for a more sophisticated occasion or for a slightly more casual location, I tend to opt for a skater dress, as its fitted on top but then flares at the bottom, for a more playful and informal look.

My wardrobe is no stranger to a little black dress, as it can be teamed with a pearl collar for a more elegant appearance, or perhaps a studded necklace for a more edgy image.
