THE largest free firework event on the south coast aims to set Poole’s skyline ablaze on Tuesday, November 5.
Organised by Poole Tourism and supported by Poole Quay businesses, the display is the finale of Wave 105’s spectacular Summertime in the South, which has seen more than 60 special events take place this year.
Part of the Wave 105 Festival of Fireworks, the free party starts at 4.30pm with live music from Karl Lattimer and BB3, with street entertainers, jugglers and fire performances throughout the evening including the chance to practice your skills with Jamie’s circus workshop.
With children’s rides, a junior disco and street dance by Revive Street Dance and Bonkerz Street Crew, there will be plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
The party is rounded off with the traditional firework extravaganza over Poole Harbour at 8pm.
“Poole’s November 5 is a fabulous way to celebrate a superb year of special events,” said Brice Grant-Braham, chairman of Poole Tourism Partnership.
“Fantastic entertainment, great bars and restaurants topped off with a dazzling free firework display in the most spectacular location. What could be better?”
The quay will be closed to traffic from 4pm.
