A ROAD was closed this morning to allow emergency services to rescue an injured woman from a private property.
The 76-year-old woman, who had suffered a dislocated hip, was rescued from a first floor window on a Dorset Fire and Rescue aerial ladder platform.
North Street in Wareham was closed to traffic from 9.58am until 10.48am and the woman was taken to Poole Hospital.
Two fire crews attended, one from Wareham and one from Westbourne.
