Car goes into ditch and tree on the A35. Scene picture
A CAR travelling along the A35 crashed into a tree and went into a ditch.
Emergency services were called to Morden Park Corner in Bloxworth, near Bere Regis at 2.33pm today.
The road was blocked westbound, and traffic was very slow while motorists took turns to pass the scene using the eastbound carriageway.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said a grey Hyundai registered to a Bournemouth man was involved in the crash.
Paramedics treated two casualties, an elderly man and woman, for minor injuries. They did not need to be taken to hospital.
The local authority was called to remove the tree, and the car was recovered.
