Condor Ferries have cancelled sailings between Poole and the Channel Islands on Saturday due to expected adverse weather conditions.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds, with gusts of up to 60mph predicted along exposed coastlines.
Posting on their website yesterday, Condor Ferries said: "After reviewing the latest weather forecast for Saturday 20th August the decision has been made to cancel the High Speed cross channel service.
"This is due to the predicted wave heights being in excess of our legal operating limits."
Commodore Clipper is sailing as scheduled and passenger capacity has been increased to accommodate disrupted passengers.
The Condor Rapide, which operates shorter rotations in more sheltered waters, is expected to sail as scheduled.
