FIRE fighters were called to a roof fire caused by a lightning strike in Poole on Thursday afternoon.
Two crews from Redhill and Westbourne were sent to a two-storey property, at Dean Swift Crescent, reportedly hit by lightning during the storms.
No one was reported to be injured.
The fire was out when the crews arrived and a further inspection of the property showed there was no further risk of fire.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue crew members used a thermal-imaging camera, a triple-extension ladder, and an aerial ladder platform, after they were called at 1.38pm.
The stop message was issued at 2.23pm.
