A ROAD that leads to Poole Quay was closed for around an hour this morning while police dealt with an incident which involved a man on the roof of a multi-storey car park.
Dorset Police were called to the Quay Visitors Car Park at 10.38am following reports of a concern for welfare of a man in his 40s.
According to a police spokesman the man was on the roof of the car park.
Police closed Old Orchard Road in Poole while they dealt with the incident.
The spokesman added: “The incident has now concluded and the man is being given the appropriate care.”
The road was re-opened by 11.30am.
