POLICE say an incident in Poole, in which a man was injured, is no longer being treated as suspicious.
Initially, Dorset Police said the man had sustained a 'life-threatening injury' in an incident in the Springfield Road area of Poole this morning.
But, this afternoon, a force spokesperson confirmed the injury was not life-threatening and was no longer being treated as suspicious.
"We are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident", they added.
Paramedics called Dorset Police after they were called Parkstone, where they treated a man who was bleeding from the stomach before taking him to Poole Hospital.
In a statement this morning, a Dorset Police spokesman said: “At 8.11am Dorset Police received a report from the ambulance service that a man had sustained a life-threatening injury at an address in the Springfield Road area of Poole.
“He has been taken to hospital but next of kin have not been informed yet.”
The scene was sealed off with police standing guard this lunchtime.
