A CASUALTY has suffered serious injuries after a collision involving two lorries and a car this afternoon.
The injured person was cut free from the wreckage of a grey Honda registered to a Blandford woman after the crash in North Dorset.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the A375 near Shillingstone shortly before 2.05pm.
Twio larger vehicles - a white Scania lorry and a white Isuzu truck - were also involved.
The carriageway is shut between Shillingstone and Sturminster Newton and the air ambulance has been called.
It is not known in the casualty was taken to hospital by road or air ambulance.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "The casualty's condition is serious but not life threatening."
