THE New Forest's oldest resident has died at the age of 110 years old.
Former biker Annie Rideout died on Tuesday at her home in New Milton, surrounded by her family.
The mother of six was born in Brockenhurst in 1907 – just eight days before Robert Baden-Powell formed the Boy Scouts and in the same year psychiatrists Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung met for the first time.
She was believed to be the country's eighth oldest person.
One of her many grandchildren is ex-Premier League star Paul Rideout, who famously scored the winning goal for Everton in the 1995 FA Cup Final against Manchester United.
She has previously credited her long life to her family, who she adored, and her clean living, having never touched a glass of alcohol.
