Giant vegetables, hot air balloons to sheep shearing.

The New Forest Show has been thrilling crowds for decades and is as much as a summer staple as strawberries and cream.

The event, which runs from July 25 to 27, is set to celebrate 97th year.

It boasts a jam-packed line-up this year from daredevil bike tricks to a brand new baking competition plus the usual livestock shows and showjumping.

The first New Forest and Hampshire County Show was held in 1921 as a small one-day local event at Bartley Cross.

Today it attracts around 95,000 visitors including Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip who visited in 2012 as part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour.
